  Esomperazole and Domperidone   -  This combination is used to reduce or inhibit acid secretion from stomach. This medicine is given with many other tablets.  Working mechanism - here the drug esomperazole is proton pump inhibitor which reduce acid secretion and Domperidone is antagonist to dopamine , reduce feeling of nausea, vomiting etc. This medicine is given to neutralize or reduce acidity of stomach such that another medicine given which works in less acidic medium can work efficienctly.  Uses -   .  MONTELUKAST ( Anti allergic drug) - 



Montelukast drug given to treat mostly allergy. Main fact about this is that one should take this drug after doctor' s prescription.

Working mechanism - it usely blocks  receptor of oxidised leucocyte and thus ends allergic symptoms. Act as bronchodilator. 

Uses - mostly use to treat asthma, asthma due to exercise, bronchospasm, rhinitis, cough due to allergy and to treat many other allergic symptoms. 

Dose - usually medicine are given to someone according to their body weight. Normally given as 

To child 2 to 4 year - 4mg ones a day 

To child 5to 14 year - 5mg ones a day 

To Adult - 10 mg ones a day 

Mostly recommended to take during night. 

 Brand -  montair, singulair, montelast etc. 

 Usually this drug is present in combination with levocitirizine. 

Side effects - includes headache, throat swelling, muscle weakness, sinuses pain etc. 



Key point - . It should be taken after doctor' s prescription. 

. Pregnant and lactating women should consult to doctor before taking this drug. 

. Sometimes this drug is given by doctor to a non allergic person to increase any other drug potential. 

.Person having asthma due to exercise then one should take 2 hour before exercise.
