ESOMPERAZOLE AND DOMPERIDONE
ASPIRIN - Non steroidal anti inflammatory drug ( NSAID)
ANALGESIC ( pain killer) , ANTIPYRETIC( reduce temperature) , ANTI INFLAMMATORY.
Working mechanism - inhibit production of prostaglandin by effecting enzyme involved in process.
USES - Headache, backache, joint pain, toothache, Dysmenorrhea.
Aspirin 75 mg given to cardiac patients to reduce chances of myocardial infraction after surgery or as per requirement.
SAFE DOSAGE - As ANALGESIC - given in low dose 0.3 - 1.5 mg / day Or 0.3 - 0.6 mg in 6 - 8 hr.
Maximum ANALGESIC effect at 1000 mg.
- As INFLAMMATORY - given in high dose 3 - 6 g / day

ECOSPRIN 75 , 150, 325 mg
DISPRIN 350 mg
COLSPRIN 100 - 325 mg
In high dose available as injectables - BiOSPRIN ( lysin acetylsalicylate 900mg + glycine 100 mg given by dissolving in 5 ml water )
SIDE EFFECTS - . Damage Gastric mucosa and produce peptic ulcer .
. Common symptoms like nausea ,vomiting and epigastric distress.
. Aspirin in children with rheumatoid arithritis can cause liver damage .
. Not recommended to diabetes patients.
. Unavailable for pediatric solution ( children treatment) suffering from chicken pox, influenza.
Key point - not recommended for pregnant and lactating women without concerning Doctor.
As if given to pregnant women frequently results in baby with low weight.
In Case of fever 🤒 mostly paracetamol is recommended over aspirin.
