  Esomperazole and Domperidone   -  This combination is used to reduce or inhibit acid secretion from stomach. This medicine is given with many other tablets.  Working mechanism - here the drug esomperazole is proton pump inhibitor which reduce acid secretion and Domperidone is antagonist to dopamine , reduce feeling of nausea, vomiting etc. This medicine is given to neutralize or reduce acidity of stomach such that another medicine given which works in less acidic medium can work efficienctly.  Uses -   .  MAJOR PAINKILLERS -

                                           Among painkillers five which are are vastly used are - 

1. Paracetamol 

2.Diclofenac

3.Acelofenac

4.Ibuprofenac 

5.Aspirin 

1. Paracetamol ( PCM) - 


PCM drug also used as painkiller. It is effective in fever, pain etc. 

PCM has less side effects thus considered better than other painkillers. 

2. Diclofenac - 


Diclofenac  is available in oral, topical and injectable form. Diclofenac mostly used to relieve pain, swelling, joint stiffness caused by arthritis. 

It has more side effects than PCM, Acelofenac and Ibuprofenac. 

It cause vomiting ,  nausea, dizziness ,  headache and it increases the rsik of heart attack and stroke. 

Brand - voltaren, cambia, zepsor etc. 


Acelofenac -  

It has low side effect then diclofenac , Ibuprofenac, and aspirin. Mostly used to relieve pain, used in case of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and backache etc. 
Side effects  commonly are vomiting, nausea, headache etc. 
Brand - Aceclo,  dolokind 100 mg, afenac etc. 

4. Ibuprofenac -  

It has less side effects then diclofenac. Used to reduce fever, pain, inflammation .  It has less anti inflammatory properties but uesd to releive dental surgery pain and not suitable for gout like conditions. 
Side effects - include common symptoms like vomiting, nausea, if taken frequently results in decrease in haemoglobin and can cause gastric ulcers . 
Brand - Advil. 
5. Aspirin - 

 Used as pain killer given to heart patient in low dose to reduce blood clotting chances thus reduce heart attack chances. It is used antiplatelet tab or as blood thinner. 
Side effects  - has common side effects as other medicines, for more details check my blog  mediclinfo over aspirin . 
Brand - disprin , ecosprin etc. 
Key points - . Diclofenac and Acelofenac should be taken after meal to reduce their side effects. 
. According to side effects if we arrange these painkillers then series come out like this -

  4. Diclofenac
